Aim

A flexible tool to turn a varied sizes of knurled or irregular shaped fasteners

Requirements

• Flexible – the wrench must fit a variety of objects that need turning
• Robust – the tool must withstand repeated use
• Convenient – the must be easy to use

Results

This tool is a version of one that is already readily available and was specifically inspired by a Boa strap wrench. It features a PLA handle and a TPU strap. The strap is friction fit into a slot on the handle and then a PLA cap locks it into place. This enables the easy replacement of the strap either due to damage or if an alternate length is required.

Feedback received indicated that, although this tool is effective as a wrench it would benefit from further refinement: the handle is too short to get sufficient leverage and is uncomfortable to hold.
