Design:

Aim

To create a 3-dimensional representation of the business’s warehouse and to plan its layout

Requirements

• Accurate – The dimensions of the building and the contents must be accurate
• Seventy racking units need to be placed
• Accessible – The corridors need to be wide enough for mobile stairs and palette trucks to traverse them

Results

The CAD model was used to enabled us to plan and visualise how the new warehouse would be laid out. It was also used as a reference when the physical layout was created.
